Simple Vacation Mode

Simple Vacation Mode helps merchants show vacation messaging, pause selected storefront actions, and manage store-level configuration inside Shopify.

Information We Collect

We collect and store only the shop information and configuration needed to run the app, such as the Shopify shop domain, app installation session data, and vacation mode settings created by the merchant.

We do not intentionally collect or store protected customer data such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or payment details.

How We Use Information

• Provide vacation mode features inside the merchant's Shopify store.
• Save the merchant's configuration and language-related storefront settings.
• Maintain app security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with Shopify platform requirements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell merchant or customer data. We share data only with service providers that are necessary to host and operate the app, or when required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

App data is retained only as long as needed to provide the service. When Shopify sends required privacy webhooks, including shop redaction requests, related shop data is deleted from our systems.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data and validate Shopify webhook requests before processing them.

Your Rights

Merchants may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of app-related data, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
